Devena De Donatis

Lead Vocals

Devena De Donatis started singing at the young age of 7; singing in a musical theatre production of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Along with singing in school choirs, she also made appearances throughout Brisbane with multiple bands singing "Old School" rock'n roll classics. From there, she went on to study the voice privately both in Brisbane and New Zealand along with earning her dual certification in voice teaching through music education institutions in both New York and Los Angeles.

Devena owns and runs a singing school and works full time as a Voice Teacher along with being a singer / songwriter.

Soul, Blues and Jazz are some of Devena's favoured genres; by giving old classics a new twist, she loves keeping music fresh and interesting.

Most recently Devena has sung in bands such as Wood & Whisky, The Muddy River Blues Band, Beanie Gray and now fronts Deja Blues.

Adam O'Connor

Guitar/Vocals

Adam is a contemporary guitarist with more than 25 years of playing experience.

Since first taking up the guitar, Adam has engaged non-stop in what is most important to him – performing and composing.

He has a wide variety of musical experiences and styles to his credit and constantly seeks more to add to this list. He has played in Rock, Funk, Rockabilly and Top 40 cover bands and duos, Trad, Acid and Fusion Jazz ensembles, accompanied singers and instrumentalists in a variety of duo and trio settings and played and recorded in a number of other formats including Musicals and session work.

Adam draws upon funk, jazz, blues and rock and his tunes borrow elements from many other styles. In playing and composing alike, he tries to find the balance between familiar and exotic, rhythm and harmony.

Graham Ingram

Bass guitar/Vocals

Graham Ingram plays Bass in Deja Blues but also enjoys playing drums and guitar.

A relatively late return to music after a successful career in Enterprise IT and the owner of GMI Music which is focused on music production and delivery.

Graham is the ‘sound guy’ for the band and the ‘go to’ for tech issues and solutions where he combines his knowledge of IT with the world of digital and analogue audio.

Graham enjoys and plays a wide variety of music from rock to blues and Indie.

He is a founding member of Deja Blues after playing in Wood and Whisky and Beanie Gray with Devena.

Billy Wright

Drums/Vocals

Billy Wright started playing drums at the age of 2 banging stuff like most kids but really got started with serious lessons at age 14.

Born, bred and based in Melbourne, Billy played with a number of original and cover bands over the years in pubs, clubs and auditoriums in and around Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Experienced in live, studio and session work, Billy has played styles including rock, reggae, ska, blues, funk and country rock encompassing both original and covers outfits including The Big Kids, The Party Animals, Headrush Honey, The Corporates, Bare Feat and many more.

Together with being an experienced drum teacher, Billy is also credited with orchestral and stage production works from semi-professional productions to working with QMF projects.

Now kicking it with the solid rhythm section of Deja Blues.
